This is part two of being a part of a collective conciousness, it's that there is no original idea. You can attempt to be more original, if that's interesting enough, or just give up.
I have no idea what my next idea will be until I start working in that direction, but I can't escape the talent and skill that comes from the shared inspiration of others. We learn things through imitation, and for some that's a downright legit practice, for others it's completely against the law and hurts someones feelings. UGH FEELINGZ.
So I had to research copyright and creative commons. It's a fantastic world. I wish still that I could work with other active minds on projects, but that day will come without worry. I need to focus on the now, and there's a ton of things which have my attention. One of the main things which stop me is the idea that someone else is doing it better. god dammit, let's celebrate that instead of using it to sabotage my own creativity.
When watching ice skating, I like to think "oh they make it look so easy" even though it's the like mofo Olympics, cause that's the skill in doing something- making it look easy. You are not the only one who has ever tried this, and because of that the path has been paved. This is a good thing. We should not try to keep our paths private and not let people in, it is with each other that we are able to do what we are today. Without ever attempting ice skating, I passed it off as too easy and that the best people had already perfected it. PERSONAL FAIL.
The difference is your personal experience. We are all the same but different. My experience in the HERE & NOW, my family, my economics, my government, my philosophy, my approach. What I have learned and understood up until this point.
ITS ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE, BUT NOT BY ME.
